Miguel Cantos Gómez, better known as Saiko, is a Spanish singer, rapper, and songwriter born on May 25, 2002, in Armilla, Granada, who first gained recognition as a teenager through local freestyle rap battles before transitioning into a solo career that quickly propelled him into the spotlight of Spain’s urban music scene. His breakthrough arrived in 2022 with the single “Polaris,” a track that blended melodic reggaeton with sharp lyricism and earned gold certification in Spain, followed by the blockbuster remix featuring Quevedo, Mora, and Feid, which became one of the biggest Latin hits of the summer. In 2023, Saiko cemented his stardom with “Supernova,” which soared to #1 on the Spanish charts with a chorus inspired by Melendi’s “Un violinista en tu tejado,” and later with “Buenas,” his chart-topping collaboration with Quevedo.
