Luis Antonio Quiñones García, better known as Nio García, is a Puerto Rican singer, rapper, songwriter, choreographer, and actor born on April 3, 1989, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, who first gained recognition at age 15 as a dancer and choreographer under the nickname Che Robótico before making his acting debut in Reggaetón: The Movie (2013). His transition into music began with early singles like “Infinitamente” (2015) and “Borracho y Loco” (2016), and he rose to global fame in 2018 with the star-studded remix of “Te Boté” alongside Bad Bunny, Ozuna, and Nicky Jam, which earned him multiple Billboard Latin awards and cemented his role as a pioneer of the Flow Music movement and modern reggaetón culture. In 2020, he released Now or Never with Casper Mágico, which charted on Billboard’s Latin rankings and even entered the Billboard 200, followed by the massive success of his 2021 single “AM” and its remix with J Balvin and Bad Bunny, plus his collaboration with Don Omar on “Se menea.” In 2024, he showcased his versatility with the album Anto-Nio, blending reggaetón, bachata, and ballad sounds while collaborating with artists like Anuel AA, Wisin, Jowell y Randy, Blessd, and L-Gante. Most recently, in 2025, his collaboration with Colombian artist Maisak exploded worldwide, reaching #4 on YouTube’s global trends, breaking into Spotify Colombia’s Top 50, and inspiring over 10,000 TikTok creations, all while he continues riding the momentum of a successful European tour, proving he remains one of Latin music’s most dynamic, versatile, and influential figures today, constantly reinventing himself and pushing boundaries while staying connected to his Puerto Rican roots and loyal global fanbase.
